I was INSANELY close to getting my abandoned C6 Corvette ZR1 back on the road, but everything just blew up in my face…
We put in over a week of HARD work getting this ready to crank this build LS9 engine up for the first time, our reward? 5 seconds of run time before the dread sets in…
This Corvette ZR1 is supposed to hit the the dyno in LESS THAN A WEEK and we have a very big problem on our hands..
Have a salvage Corvette rebuild story of your own? Maybe you’re building your own 1000HP Z06 or ZR1? Put it in the comments!

Almost time to party!!!!
What's up with the random tattoos. They all look hi quality but so random. They remind me of the wall advertisement at an old-school tattoo parlor. No disrespect meant just an honest question. You guys are doing an amazing job with the channel. Much love brother
It already sounds bad assss. Can't wait until it is running well.
I'm sorry. I hear Kong and all I can think of are those dog toys lol
Did I miss the part about putting oil in the transmission?
fun fact, two 8-6 fitting plus those two 90* push-lock fitting would have been a good solution for your cross over and would create a smoother fuel flow.
That's a sick ass Vette build only thing I could say is the car needs to be lowered a tad all around..
What else is better on car youtube than a horribly short self imposed deadline? Nothing
Do you guys have any mercedes inventory?? CLS550 seats to be exact??
@ 18:46 i love cars. i love trucks. i love the army. i love my new bourne. i love america. i love all good nice people. How is i am here and you are there. why is it i want to be there working on a piece of history. and why am i here thinking it. it dont really matter huh. Beautiful car keep living the dream working on the dream. Hooah
none deployed veteran that has been disabled for many years. can i come work for you ? havent worked in many years. I feel like i would be great help
Great job guys. I appreciate the fast response. This progress is well documented. She’ll idle real nice with this setup. Looking forward to the dyno video at RPM via Fran.
Dude sounds like a knock off Chris fix
You might need a bore scope camera it would probably helped see if the pressure sensor was plugged or kinked. Good Luck
Just found this channel and I am really liking how gritty it is. New Subscriber looking forward to your next video
Whoops, manufacturers recommended oil weight is a joke nowdays
They make 180 degree and 90 degree fittings, bent hose under pressure and spent all that good money on good stuff. I expect this on the juke, but not the ZR1
Windex makes push on lines easy, the alcohol in it dries it out and the bond is almost like glue.
In future clean each part before install, quick detailer and a rag is your friend at a minimum
Is there not an aluminum plate that covers the torque tube and adds rigidity? Other than dirt is there any disadvantages to leaving out that plate?
Got the Gucci mane ice cream tattoo BURRRR
But where did all the brake fluid from the original clutch master cylinder go? It had to go somewhere……
While you are working under the hood with radiators, fuel, clutch fluid, wiring, etc why not remove the hood? Just so you don't mess up the hood? Or because it's hard to line back up? It's not as in the way as one that opens the normal way I suppose.
nice job fellas!
y’all are definitely my favorite car youtubers, im always watching y’all while on my lunch break
Brotha, very happy for you but had no doubts due to the character you always have been hahahahaha you guys have built a great channel in no time!
Quite a few "that's what she said" moments!
Can you please do a video on how you have upgraded the DSX kit. I think I know how you did the wiring but a video would be nice and what size fuel pump are you running? I'm assuming a 350 LPM. But please do a video
its looking good so far, it looks good
Dude clean the parts and the engine etc etc
