This is an example of why safety should be a concern when you start making power and going faster.. Glad Richard walked away from it and is in good health today!

Nice to see a proper cage in that small tire car . Sub 5.50’a 8th mile is no joke . The mph these guys pull is serious .
With a couple other recent accidents seen online, I'm reminded that these cars fold like tuna cans. Maybe it's time for that roll cage after all, prior to the engine swap. I've been putting it off but this is a good reminder.
Geez I'm glad he's ok that's the most important thing, poor car tho looked like a sweet ride at one time
Glad that guy is okay
Hey man i know it's off topic but what do you think about the tweecer rt for tuning? Is it the same as a quarterhorse? Yall be safe out there!
A big hell yeah to whom ever built that cage looked like a sweet t top.
Damn Dan, Scared the bejesus out of me. I thought at first glance it was your white car. So thankful the driver was ok. Safety ruled the day!!!
Ive been low 6s high 5s around 115-120mph in 1/8 years ago without so much as a DS loop, trans shield, belly pan/diaper or a simple roll bar just single layer and a helmet. I guess age has hit me hard the last few years and about to put the full CM cage in, double DS loop, sfi trans case and 10layer suit that i have had for years back when i was running those stupid speeds. Most of the sfi certs have expired but better to be new/expired in or on the car than sitting on a shelf protecting nothing
Damn and it was a t-top fox. Those aren't very common. Yeah, cars can be replaced, but doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. If I totaled my Ranger, it'd be devastating as I have taught both my daughters how to drive in the truck and it is my first car at 16 and I am 39 now. I am just glad dude wasnt hurt and can rebuild
That thing was in the air by the time i seen it.glad he made it out okay!!
Glad he's ok.
