I'm locked in with Casper for a one shot, off the trailer race. Meaning, I can't make any runs before his, and there probably won't be much left after i light the 559 foot fuse, so forget about any after.
HOWEVER…he and I have $2500 up for that race. IF you want to go $3000, I'll give him $500 punk out money and take you on.

i live by terry fisher u should see what he has just sitting around my friend would love to race u guys but we are on the west coast . my friend has a 55 chevy pu with a fully blown 454 with hemi heads runs on pump gas sounds like a top fuel car ' right now i been building a stroked 454 but it is just for a street truck nothing crazy just trying to get close to 700 hp out of it started with a 450 hp 454 stock put it in a 68 pu i did a real nice job it looks factory dun best part is i only have a 1000 bucks in the build just needs final paint and interior finished have dash dun with full factory gauges came out better the new that cost me 250 bucks to do next i need a tilt wheel that going to cost me 350 bucks my budget it 5,000 so i have a bit left over. i just can't believe how cheap the parts are for a 68 pu the front and rear rebuild kit for the suspension was only 450 bucks . i got the truck with a good clean body rust free for free then got a 450 hp 454 with a 02xx 400r turbo with 6,000 miles on it for free so u can see y i have nothing in it.
It appears he does not want to race you and would rather sling insults. He only wants to race Casper and its one and done. Still sounds like a fun event. Maybe get your Supra dialed-in in the months leading up to the event and just run it.
Me thinks you and Lamchop should line up at this event.
I think you are missing the point this is an event to show out for the little guy so find someone else and make your own race

Gotta say I give you credit Lunar. You're trying to get a race, even agreed to buy out the original race for twice the money. The NNNs is supposed to be fun and you tried. Kudos.
I wouldn't get to hung up on it Lunar. There will be lots of races there for you. Your a very positive guy, no point in having one race and a few words bring you down. Your going to have a blast in a car you built and like and that's what really matters. Don't be beating on it like a rented mule to much if you plan on driving it home. Best of luck with the wrench pulling.
