Only good thing about putting our cars up for the winter is it gives us time to tinker. Raw materials right now are crazy, manufactures simply don't have the raw materials they need to keep up with demand and unfortunately it's only going drive prices up. Getting ready to order new heads and a cam for mine and have already been told 3-6 months, fine for me as my car is up for the winter, sucks for folks who have small windows of opportunity to get work done to their cars. Definitely will be putting a cage in mine, not that I'll be that fast (I really won't) but I like the safety aspect and definitely like the stiffening aspect. Can't wait to see the finished product!
Chromoly is found in abundance in all camaros door skeleton reinforcement…
NEO WHAT EVER YOU DO DONT SKIP OUT ON SAFETY, THAT WHITE CAR IS GETTING FASTER AND I WANT TO SEE THAT 8.99 AWSOME BROOOOOOOOOOOO
This hits I'll be in the single digits next year and currently don't have a cage. I need something even if it's a maxim bolt in cage.
foxbody rattle reduction, subframe connectors and a cage! 90% less rattles!
Love those tbirds! I have an 88 With an on3 kit
I was actually gonna do an 8pt cage this winter. Small price to pay for a little piece of mind!
A little more Ridgidness for the white car, definitely won't hurt.
Very cool, very nice. It's going to make it safer, and really interested to see how much more ridged it makes
everything and how more stable it makes it. Thanks for sharing.
I build cages for a living. My absolute favorite part of hot rodding
One of the first things I do when I know my project car is or will be quick. Got lucky years ago and a friend owed me money, he couldn't come through so we satisfied the loan with lots of hot rolled electrically welded (HREW) steel, drawn over mandrel (DOM) steel and chromoly DOM steel…..lots. I put it in one of my large sheds. Glad to see you are getting a cage…..I often thought to myself watching your video's…why doesn't he have one. I have enjoyed your videos this year brother. Congrats on JD Vance getting the Senate nod and Mike DeWine doing a shellacking.
