We found a $300 coyote motor in the junkyard on our most recent pick. Giving it some thought and interest this might not be a bad idea…

You have a good starting point. Mustang cams, mustang gen 2 intake, and boss 302/ gen 2 rods and you can make 900 wheel with boost pretty safely on a budget. If you do anything change the rods thats the weak link in the gen 1s.
If you need help going thru that coyote I’m semi local and have gone thru quite a few of them!
Coyote swap white car since it’s setup well
I've, watched salvage yards, lift entire vehicles by the seat belts. Not, to damage the body panels. They, certainly are strong!
What a killer deal, even if it's not going into a Foxbody, a old F100 /F150 drag truck would make some good
content. Can't wait to see what it looks like under the valve covers.
You always be finding the deals!! lol good catch!!
Should have bought that floor model stand.
We got 2012 f150 at my job with coyote motor and 250000 miles runs like a sewing machine
Won’t lie coyotes a sweet motor but I’m an old pushrod guy all the way. Just something about em you can’t replace!
Trooper coup
Dan, you could bring an obscure fox chassis car to the channel and drop the Coyote in it. Zephyr, Grenada, hell a wagon! Sleeper…
Good score. I’m looking for one as well
Why not keep the 6R80 with the Coyote ?
Stiffler for the crossmember & quick 6 for controller.
Put it in the troop coupe.
No matter how you look at it, as long as that block is good it's a damn good investment for $300
I’ve always had pushrod Mustangs but I got a gen 1 Coyote from a friend. I plan on putting in my 95 GT roller. I’m thinking I could build the motor cheaper than a pushrod motor. Boss intakes are cheap! I’ve been looking for GT intake cams. Those seem to be pricey these days. If you find a place that sells them for a reasonable price can you let us know? Like the channel and I’m a stick shift guy for life!
