  1. I'm glad i was recommended your channel. Keep soaking up all the knowledge that is giving to you by reputable people. Like my shop teacher said to me the first day of my sophomore year, Mr. Kull he said, I challange you to fill your tool box, referring to my brain, 34yrs later it still isn't full. I've been building cars since 94, and learn something new every day. Take care EJ.

  2. EJ I really truly hope the very best for you but I really think you left an opportunity that few do at Tom's. You never really said why so if it didn't work out then it didn't work out but you both seem lost and sad that it ended. Good luck in your future endeavors, reach for the stars.

  3. Awesome stuff, was great watching you be part of the Toms crew, and also nice to hear that you spent some time as young girl here in Australia. Im sure with your enthusiasm and attitude you will have great success with your future endeavours.

  4. I think we are happy you are good and in great spirits. I watched you over on Tom’s channel and was taken back that they said you were doing tools boxes but we didn’t see you in any video. I respect your decision and I know you are building your resume and to do so you cannot stay in one shop for ever if you want to make this your life pursuit. My daughter is going to take Mechanical Engineering and is in a trade school in high school, you are an inspiration to us old farts as well, keep up the good work and know WE HAVE YOUR BACK young lady. God bless you EJ.

  5. It’s extremely hard when you mentor someone and really put your heart into it and they leave.
I’ve been in business for 33 years and trained many talented young people as machinists and fabricators.
I spent more time on the the employees that had drive and talent and showed me that they used what they learned on the next projects.
I left my mentors shop and I still regret how I did it. It took years of life experience to understand his position and we now send projects to his shop when I need specialized machining.
The best way to thank Tom if you are on good terms and appreciate him is to reach out and talk to him once in a while and let him know how your life is going. I’m guessing he will not reach out to you if he’s like me…….just ignorant proud man stuff.

  6. Just subscribed and full video notifications on, I personally think this is a good move for you, EJ. You learned a lot, I watched until the end, ain't no Thang, but a chicken wang lol is what my father would say lol. You will do great things. The world is in the palm of your hands. The only things left to do are to conquer it and make it your own. I took time off youtube for the same reasons, learn from others, to better my abilities. You will do great things. The names DB Grimson.

  7. Nothing better then a down to earth pretty chick that loves cars…. I need one of them in my life haha. That being said I came from toms channel. And Sam is as genuine a person you can find these days.

  8. EJ, now that you’re exploring other skills do you think that you may want to go back to work for Tom Bailey and surprise him with your new skill set or would even he have you back ?

  9. glad your doing your own thing, but you went about leaving the absolute wrong way and when you realize this in years to come you will regret it. I did something similar when I was younger and took everything for granted. biggest mistake I've ever made.

  10. working on cars is like being a Dr, its a constant practice, skills that need constant work, keep it up, your doing great !! would be neat to see you do colabs with the youtube universe , a build w VGG , a build w Finnegan, a build with Cleeter … that would be epic

  11. I like the new Hair Color choice!! just because you don't work for Tom, Doesn't mean you can't Drive one of his Race car's in the Future! I say Don't listen to the Haters, there not living your Life & don't know whats best!! EJ, If you put some Car content out, I'l being Watching. The Best of Luck to You!

  12. Thanks for the discussion, it answered a few of the questions but of course not all. I enjoyed seeing the look of amazement on your face when enjoying some of the opportunities you had at Tom's organization. It's still difficult to understand why such a talented young lady would walk away from all of the opportunities presented at Tom Bailey Racing. The long hours were obvious but the other reasons are yours and as you said are between employer and employee but I will continue to scratch my head wondering. Best of luck, I know you will do special things.
