The Expensive, Uphill Battle Saving Old Racetrack Asphalt…

Thanks for checking out todays video, where we literally pour thousands of dollars into the abandoned racetrack by crack filling, and sealcoating a ton of the driving surface.

We worked with H&H Sealcoating, and they did a good job overall.

I also go over attending the “Hangar Throwdown 2” in Bemidji, MN. This is a no-prep style drag race at a private airport.

  1. Thanks for sticking out the racetrack project thus far! We are finally getting to the point that we are going to be making more noticeable improvements to the property if things stick to course. THANK YOU for everyone that's been watching, and sharing the vides over the last couple of years. Without you guys helping out that way, we wouldn't be where we are today.

If you would like to help out the track, there's a few ways you can do it. Like the video, subscribe to the channel, and share the video on your facebook page to spread the awareness. Those are all free!

Alternatively, you can really help us out by picking up some merch at our storefront here: https://black-river-motorsports.creator-spring.com/

Thanks everyone! Drop a comment and tell everyone where you are watching from!

  2. I'm watching this from Oulu, Finland. Fun fact: there is actually a town called Oulu in Wisconsin 30 miles from your track. The town got its name in the late 1800s when a lot of Finns immigrated there from the city I live in. They moved there to work for the lumber industry and they gave a familiar name to their new town. There are actually a lot of other places too in Minnesota and Michigan that are named after Finnish towns and cities the same way as Oulu, Wisconsin is.
