The new camera is super sharp . Crisp clear image , especially the inside shots… and no flickering lights!
Just built another one myself, K1 Technologys crank, callies rods, wiseco pistons, Johnson lifters, tsp cam, btr dual valve springs, che truion upgrade, arp everything!!!
Looking forward to seeing the new engine build
Are you still going to make it to i29 this coming weekend??!!
I like how Bob has took him under his wing and bends over for the brothers. Will stop what he is doing. That's awesome
I can't believe how light your new motor is that's amazing can't wait to see what it does once it's together
One thing is for sure is i wouldnt let Box Racing build me a blender let alone a big block!!! Stick with uncle bob for sure!!!
6:50 didn’t expect you to be taking the truck to that figured you’d thrash on the nova and get it back together instead
It's always an oil problem
Your tune was too hot hahaha you have to tune based on your oil c'mon
Air is easy
Good vid.
Watching the videos, I have concern with the exhaust valve contact on all of the remaining pistons. I was thinking high exhaust pressure (reversion) may have held them open enough to produce contact (valve float). Freiburg on Enginemasters did a segment on this with turbo applications. Weird shit happens @ 8000 rpm and cramming boost!
Don't have any problems yet……..
Your probably right on the wrist pin theory. If you look at the other pistons the pin boss will be cracked. But you guys are great
Hey Billy, can you beat 693,000 on Ms. Pac-Man? 40 years ago that was my high score that lasted for months at the local convenience store by the high school I attended.
Billy, your engine is forced induction. There is no way the piston is sucking. The pressure of the intake charge blows the piston down. The rod probably went because of overspeed. The piston would have then been blown down into the crank counterweight.
They leave the sleeves proud like that on purpose for more clamping on a copper gasket fwiw
I just got my internet back. I was trying to watch your videos through my Metro cell phone. Didn't work to well. But anyways, that new motor is my dream motor. The S10 is a YouTube legend, and the Falcon is soon to be that too. I envy you guys and your Dad and Mom. I'm 64,but I have a Malibu, all done except paint. Well. Good luck and I'm waiting for all the good things coming to.
I watched TurboJohn alum. sbc build. is this same model? he cut almost all the center walls out, seems that kills strength. I wondered about it. also there was something about the lifter bores.. Bobs the guy.
Its Absolutely Awesome to see these young Men learn the Ropes and go thru all this mess and just get better at keeping there stuff together
Corn field Bob gets it done.
For sure they all do the fastest everything right before the detonation
Boop
Got to be careful when you stand heads, cranks ect on the shop floor so the puppies don’t bump them and something fall and hurt them.
