With our main goal of bringing our race ready bikes to the track, we need to be out testing as much as possible. Especially before we head to the XDA events. In this video, we take a bunch of our race motorcycles to the Bradenton Motorsports race track for some testing. In this video you’ll also see a start up of the 2005 Turbo GSXR1000. This is a project bike we’ve been using as a tool to build and learn how to make more power for YOUR motorcycle. Tests like this help us bring more performance to other motorcycles whether you’re wanting to run your turbo bike on the street or on the track. Or both. Then we go through a little walkthrough of the bikes we took to the track to test out. One being our H2, a Gen 2 Hayabusa, the shop zx10 and a few other bikes set up for XDA super stock class. This particular event had a huge turnout which made it tough to get more runs in, but the runs we did get in helped us find a few weak points on the bikes. And that’s the purpose of these test runs. That way when we do more competitive racing, we KNOW our bikes are dialed in and ready to race. One issue we found was a clutch on the H2 that seemed to be having some issues. We’ll be able to get this locked in before the next run. The other issue was with the ZX10 which one of the cylinders was down on compression. So now we’re dropping the engine out of this motorcycle so we can do a refresh to ensure it’s also ready to go for the next run. At the end of the day, it was a great time at the track as always and now we have a ton of work to do at the shop to ensure we’re ready for the next motorcycle track day!
