Making A House Call On Dr. Art And His Turbocharged Nitrous LS Swapped Ford Ranger (And Other Toys)

We ran into Dr. Art last week at the track, and despite living in the same town, we had never met before.
Today, we dropped by his office to check out his fleet which includes a couple of retired cop cars, a sweet daily driver Falcon, a Pro Touring Turbocharged 302 Falcon, a really sweet GTR build and his low buck blown LS swapped “Sloppy Special” Ford Ranger.

  1. My neighbor just died a slow, agonizing death. Family couldn't figure it out. Finally, the coroner found that exposure to LS bacteria caused his brain to be eaten from the inside out. County ruled the Chevy truck to be burned. Family saved burial costs by tossing him into the inferno. True story. Let this be a lesson.

  2. Interresting !
At first i tought it was Kiwi with red Ford. Then i thought it had to be his brother from another mother with Ford's swap and anything but factory cars n parts.
    Interresting Dr. Art he is!

  3. I know I'm in a minority, but I think the first generation Ford Ranger looks badass. There was a guy in my hometown who had a black one set up like a 70s stinkbug: jacked up in the rear, big tires out back, skinnies in front, hood pins, that sort of thing. You'd think it would have looked ridiculous, and you'd be right, but only partially. That thing looked rowdy and I've always wanted to build one seeing as how cheap you can buy a really good Ranger. I'd probably build it like Art, with a budget LS build, then just drive it around for fun.

  4. Hope this is not inappropriate but I’m wondering where the best place is to get a complete engine for an F-350, year 1981, it’s called a 400 ci, but I think it’s has a 351 block, would have to look at stock engine again, it’s a project I have had a few years, I would even consider to rebuild my engine but no mechanics in my area anymore more. I am just a parts changer myself with limited tools and knowledge.
    Thanks.
A new subscriber, and enjoying channel.

  5. Cool video Uncle Tony-thank you for introducing Dr. Art and his cool stuff to us. You guys rock & give me hope for my being able to refreshen and give some life to our 20 & 30 year old Chevrolets, and a 40 year old Jeep. Happy Easter Sunday everyone.

  6. Have to feel sorry for these Chevy fans who don’t have any decent Chevrolet models to put their LS swaps into. So many of them are forced to look to other manufacturers models for a vehicle to put their engines into. Poor buggers

  7. Today my Son and I pulled the 318 out of our 71 Cuda to freshen it up before the season there is a little wear My Son said Uncle Tony would probably just Rering it and slap it back together and run it as is so that's what where gonna do Jacob runs one of your stickers on his 2nd gen Cummins and has always spoken highly about you
