It’s race day, and it’s gonna be a wild one! 28’s Gone Wild teamed up with 252 List Series to make this race happen. The spectator and car count was huge. Track was in great shape and boy o boy was there some great racing. We made some progress, but also facing some set backs. Every other outting seems that it was 2 steps back every time, but this time we took a few steps forward! After months of doubting everything I know about drag racing Randy’s hot rod is showing us that she is willing to work, but we gotta work for it if we want to go fast!

Great video John. Do you know if a NHRA license is required to run in outlaw big tire in npk?
I'm wondering if John has ever accidentally said "comment, like and subscribe" when he was wrapping up a conversation in real life.
Brantly needs some hp!!!!?
Crazy how tech savoy you have to be with the electronics you have in racing!!!
Call that car SMOKIE
More passes more faster , for both Randy’s new build and yours John. Just think about how many passes you had on the old car! Great vid
TJ your Mustang is sure looking sweet! Hope those two that contacted weren't too bad off! Stay Safe!
Definitely some progress.
Nice
2nd pass A to B, you both should be flat stoked now. Now, you can begin the fine tuning. A lot needs to be reviewed top to bottom on all sensors and settings in the tune, one change at a time.
Randy didn't win that round, but he could win the car show. That's a clean Fox.
Car looks killer
YA'LL are making great progress on Randy's car. There's progress each time out. When you get it dialed in its going to be a rocket ‼️
In My opinion I think the seals in that Turbo are cooked. from having to much pressure and then not having the correct drain on it, I think the seals have been used beyond their capacity. I think the oiling system that is on it now should work, but it is the cooked seals that are making it blow smoke still. You Guys have done a Mega job on getting it sorted, But in the time it has taken to fix the issue it has hurt the seals in the Turbo. I also think the Turbo oiling system is way to complex for feeding and then returning oil to a Low Mount Turbo. With all those ball valves and such, it would be very easy to forget something. Still a Great video TJ. Well Done.
Ive noticed your method of tuning when motor is on boost on the brake, isnt popping and banging…i think thsts great. what do you do to limit the rpm and not have it pop out the ex
It looks like you pretty much got it figured out. I knew that you would. I had no doubt, all because you got God's blessing going with you where ever you are at. Stay blessed and keep up the good work. I will be watching and praying.
Those are some nice pits compared to the track I grew up!
How come Randy's Mustang smoke so bad when he does a burnout
Car looks like it's smoking bad on video. Really bad.
Hello John, I think the oil scavenge pump must be below the turbo level. Those has gears and do not create vacuum. Car still smokes
Dang that's a beautiful car. And a great video
Show more new car footage in your introduction!!
Def looks like it could use a bit more front travel. Got down pretty quick getting better. Good catch on those dump valves
That car sound whooooo bud the car start running better every time
Why don't you boys hire someone that can sort that car out??? Its obviously over y'all's head. This poor guy cant get down the track without a new, or an old issues. No offense TJ,….but "it is what it is" at this point.
Y’all are getting it figured out, starting to fly!
Son that Vega blasted outta y'all life!!!!
Need more front end lift. It runs out of front end lift almost immediately.
I love Randy's car, it's so beautiful and clean throughout. I'd love to be able to own something half as good looking as that car.
Yessir
When you get that car lined out it's gonna fly. Turbo john, I have a question I hope you will answer. I have a car that has a similar engine to yours. A 364 co ls. It makes 500 hp and 498lb .now it is time for me to pick a turbo. I race mostly street. I'm fine with 1100 tire power. I'm picking an 80 billet wheel on the compressor side. My thoughts are about the turban side. I won't run it much past 1to1 on boost to back pressure. I have choices on turban wheels and a.r sizing
I would like to have your advice on this if you will. Thank you
If yall get that car runnin as good as it looks…..
The weight of that engine is a problem and in the stock location.
Boss man getting it!
Lil vega is ornery dang!!!
Who’s the owner of that 3rd gen ..that car is beautiful
