I bet it makes 525 wheel
Soo pumped! Unfortunately mines gotta go to storage for Wisconsin winter. Wanted it done by now but such is projects lol. Spring for sure
You can run an EFI Edlebrock single plane lower intake with an elbow up top also
Looking damn good, can't wait for this budgetish beast to get fired up!! And to see what happens to that
Yote on the stand.
480hp is my guess
460 wheel
There is no such thing as a budget build period everything ads up evening doing the build your self.
610 wheel
Eldelbrock victor Jr carb intake converted for efi, long tube headers, I’d bet you’d gain 100hp
The most hp you going to make NA with dat 351 is nomore then 20 to 70
I have the trick flow r intake for 351 i paid 800 for it.
448 horsepower
Kinda my Delma I have a 351 short block and a set of p heads but I have a nice tubular on my 302 and Holley term x on the car
410 HP.
I am interested in the torque that it'll make, my 387 carbed N/A is super torqey!
399
Nice to see the budget 351 stroker getting close to making it into its new home. I’d guess 500-600 bhp NA on corn and really depending on what cam and how good those heads flow. Shorties also a bit of a limiting factor. It’ll be a torque monster no doubt tho.
As for intakes those Victor Jr carb style intakes with tbody elbow and fuel rails work nice too. I’ve always like the Lightning intakes and can use a breadbox upper with the lower. No doubt not a cheap option.
351 w intake is a little bigger I thought wider from head to head
IDK I'm hoping 500 to the wheel probably not but would be good
Bob seal from Plymouth Ohio he was in the ntpa always said it was a bad idea to swap a 351 people always totaled then I've always wanted to do it though or big block
437hp n/a
325-360 hp/tq at the wheels ….
Depending on drivetrain loss and cam ….
In my estimation.
I’m all for budget but did you really deem it necessary to reuse intake gaskets with a torn water pump hole? Lmao. I mean the intake gaskets are cheaper than an oil change and those gaskets are kinda junk even new from my experience in both sbf’s and bbf’s.
Otherwise cool build and I’m hoping it makes solid power NA. I’ll say 388rwhp 442tq. With long tubes I think it would make closer to 400
So glad you decided to dyno/drive a little NA, as I'm really curious about what it do. Thank you for everything you do to help with best bang, tricks, budget, and best mods..
Only if I was closer to you,(I Live in Central Alabama) I would be happy to let you borrow my TrickFlow R upper intake, unused due to I haven't gotten a lower intake yet.
Thanks brother, hope you and yours have a Happy Thanksgiving!
I ran a victor jr carb intake with sniper efi on mine. But I am considering getting then intake machined for injectors and running an elbow.
