We go to grab a Hemi head to mock up a project and come across the biggest collector of Mopar racing history that exists! We are shown two very limited engine platforms, one is a ford and one is a Hemi like never seen before, it was so short lived that only 5 or 6 were ever produced. We also have choices for our Tahoe trade and have to make a decision soon.

Monte Carlo, all day. If you're not sure why, you need to check out or revisit what the guy's in the show "Roadkill" did. I understand we're talking about drag racing. But if we're all motorsports fans or true car nuts. I'd say your subject (The Monte) has got the goods.
I had one of those Dana's here in Australia. I ran it in an offroad race car and the new owner still has it. The thing is bullet proof.
I saw on "Pawn Stars" the TV show they were going through an old speed shop that had closed in the 80's. those guys walk right by a NOS (New Old Stock) 426 crate motor (long block) and I don't think they knew how much that thing was worth. Because it was not sealed with plastic anyone who purchased it would have to take it fully apart to make sure there was no rust inside it.
You cant beat the hemis.
That man is a little known legend sitting on a dodge gold mine lol thanks for sharing

If possible, can the camera guy show the engines? The beard is great but
Who knew all that stuff is here in Michigan. That place was nuts. Can't wait to see what you reveal.
The rarest 426 Hemi head was built in the late 1960's by Chrysler in a 45 degree or canted valve engine. Two were built and one was destroyed so there is only one left. It is now privately owned.
Awesome thanks !!!! Superbird?

rarest engine ever produced….how thick can you get ?
3 or 4 hundred thousandths decking for higher compression…..ahem….ok. I don't think less than the thickness of a piece of hair would do it but, 3 or 4 thou (.003 or .004) would most definitely do it. Except you don't wanna do the deck, do the heads. Port match all the oil and cooling gallies, intake ports, exhaust ports and knock down any obstructions that will cause deflection or impede flow in any way shape or form. Many people think you want everything as smooth as possible. That's not the move. On the intake side it's actually important to have a bit of directional texturing. Exhaust side yes, absolutely you want it as smooth as you can get it. I've been experimenting with head porting since I was 11 years old on my yz125. As a matter of fact, my Dremel is the only reason I was able to stay competitive before 2003. I've always been a foot taller than every other guy I race against as well as 40 pounds heavier. On a 2 stroke 40 lbs is a lot. Then dad bought me a brand new 2003 yz450f for finishing my sophomore year of high school with a 4.0 gpa. I made the payments of course, but he financed it for me. $84 a month. I've bought a brand new yz450f every other year since. Just picked up my 2023 factory edition yz450 2 months ago. It's the best motorcycle I've ever owned. It's like cheating. Plus it's the sexiest fucking dirt bike I've ever seen. My wife was even like, "if we were dirt bikes, I'd definitely agree to a 3some with her." I then told her, "that's why I married you baby. The potential for you allowing me to have sex with an intimate object. I love you so much. You are the apple of my eye, the cream in my coffee, the pain in my ass."
