Did you weigh the new tire and rim individually?
Those wheels are gorgeous, and LIGHT! Slightly off topic but I keep forgetting to ask. You ever run an aluminum flywheel on a street car? I suppose it's weight savings as well in a different form..

The bad thing about running skinny’s in the front on a daily tires don’t last and they are hard to find

The lightweight wheels will make a nice difference. I spent a lot of time researching and got my street wheel setup down to 39lbs front with a 245/45r17 street tire mounted on 17×9’s and 49lbs for the rears with 275/40r17 ET Street SS’s (heavy). Made a big difference on handling, braking and acceleration.

393 385 stroke crank, 351 windsor rods, .030 over 302 SRP Pistons with 2 valve reliefs, Lanati Hyd Roller Cam 300/310 duration 570/576 lift 110LSA Power range: 22-6200, 351C 4v closed chambered cast iron heads, 1.73 roller rockers, Not sure on intake yet. MSD distributor. MSD 6al Box, Got 2 carbs Modified 850 dp Holley or 1050 Dominator which might be to big for this combo. 1 3/4 or 1 7/8 Hooker Headers. 9mm plug wires. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks.

What breaks are good for breaking and weight reduction on a Fox?
The lighter weight wheels & tires will make a big difference on turning mass engineering, which it makes for
better acceleration, braking, handling which in turn will be better ET's & MPH.
