YES WE READJUSTED THE ROCKERS AFTER THE FOOTAGE! Only Caught What I had on film…
The way your car always started, it didn't surprise me to see the timing was off. I cannot count the many times I've helped people who have hard starts and it's almost always timing related.
What turbo kit is that? I just bought an On3 with the 78mm and the turbo is centimeters away from my valve covers and touches the alternator and I need to change kits or fab the hotside sadly.
Glad you found it! Problems can get like a dog chasing it tail, it'll rattle your head lol
We had a heck of a time dialing in base timing on my ‘93 Cobra with similar setup (twin turbo Dart 347) but on a Megasquirt. Base timing was moving around and I could not figure out why – turned out it was the digital 6AL MSD. I unplugged that and then got a solid 10 degree base timing. Later tried plugging back in and same story – I’ve never ran it since. Car even stalled out a few times like just shut off out of nowhere but only with the MSD hooked up. I bought that box brand new too. MSD’s have always been love or hate in my experience but I generally had good luck with ‘em until this time around.
The spark plugs should have been able to been read and tell you the timing is off. I like reading plugs they tell the story of the engine
I wish you had a video of how to adjust the valves with stud mounted roller rockers.I am getting ready to replace heads and install roller rocker arms. I have searched you tube seeing a lot of different ways people are doing it.
I could’ve swore I heard the tires squeal on the dyno roller!
Possibly seen a dark strip develop on the tread from slippage?
You can tell be the way it was squatting, missing power has showed up
Funny your switching to solid roller and I'm switching to hydraulic roller, what's the reason u don't like hydraulic?
