In this episode I decided to pull the engine after discovering I had failed to repair my front cover o-ring properly, resulting in unsettling the front stack of the engine. This ends up becoming more of a blessing in disguise as I discover other alarming issues such as oil leaks, vacuum leaks, and much more. It also gave me time to improve on certain aspects of the car, for example, the exhaust which had an extremely long downpipe section and was incredibly way too loud for my liking despite a resonator and muffler being added.

this might be a dumb question but I cant find anything on the forums, what's the process for disconnecting the trans from the engine? I'm pulling my first engine to rebuild and I'm stuck on the underside. I've started to remove the starter and exhaust, then know to do the bellhousing bolts but how do I actually disconnect it? Will I need to touch the clutch, throw out bearing or driveshaft?
Good video – I learned stuff! But dude, you got me running around checking my smoke alarms. Puh-leez!
