I enjoy firing up my fox body mustangs and listening to them run. Prepping to head back to dyno moving cars around the shop…

  1. Turbo car sure sounds good. I mean they both do but for a turbo car it sounds mean. Good old cold weather – like -25 with wind chill other day around Detroit. I’m ready for summer!

  2. The black car sounds just AMAZING! You inspired me to build a 408W – I just recently finished and fired up my new 408W (all forged, AFR heads, Holley High Ram) and ….. MY GOODNESS! These stroked 9.5 deck Windsors are just awesome! ❤

  3. I think the 387 sounds better. Also, it sounds like it's throttle response is instant. For those of us who don't want to wait for turbos to spool up……that lightning quick response from a NA stroker tugs at your heart.

  4. I wish someone would do a back to back dyno comparison of a stroked 351 Windsor. One with a set of Kasse p38 heads. The other with a set of AFR heads with a similar intake port size. Who makes more power? Who makes more torque? Does the angle of the valves in the Kasse heads make a noticeable difference in low end grunt? Do they offer more power only above 6000 rpm or do they offer more power everywhere?
If anyone has seen a test with results. Let me know what happened. Seems like almost everyone with money goes with the AFRs. Jon Kasse is an absolute legend having won MANY engine masters challenges. I can't believe more people don't run heads that he designed to beat all the others.
