  1. Please don’t use the palm of your hand as a hammer Scotty.
I did for years and had to have carpal tunnel surgery on both hands. Which is no fun at all…
    Looking forward to Drag Challenge…

  2. Supermang has inspired my next Summernats build.
Going to bring one of my VNs home from the farm and drop a L67 in it.
Be a good, cheap and quick little project, and my sons are hassling me to enter a car so they can camp there for the entire event.

  3. I paid $1400 for a factory V8 VN Berlina about 7 years ago. Gave it a rebuilt engine, injectors, tune and exhaust and it still only owes me only $3500. $20k obo lol

  4. Thanks for another great video Scott, and Matt behind the camera. It was pretty hot down there in Melbourne Thanks for your time and effort on the supermang,! Can’t wait for Dragchallenge

  5. In an effort to cool the supercharger on a previous car of mine I ran a snow performance water meth kit. Super easy, solid and reasonable $. My roots blower was a condensed mess on the dyno.
Super low iat's and the extra Ron bump from the methanol landed me an extra 48whp.
K24 cl9 accord euro for comparison.
    Buy a kit !!

  6. Pretty sure Mace engineering sell a different intake tube for the back of the supercharger, which isnt squashed for clearance like the factory one. With how serious the supermang is getting it might be worth getting one and worth some HP!

  7. The big socket you bought meant you put load on the bearing. That's how you pit and damage bearing. You actually want a piece of tube the exact size of inner race of bearing that the shaft moves through easily.

  8. Not that you need my approval, but nice job on rebuilding the snout. It was a good reference video done right for anyone playing along at home.
I don't know what the old oil looked like but I would have been real tempted to reuse it (considering the cost of the oil) if it didn't look too bad. I mean you have swapped it so many times it could hardly be old.
