Im no chevy guy by no means … but i hope you get it lined out .. i hate to see anybody put that much time money work and effort into something and not have a good outcome .. like i say im no chevy guy but the step side s10 trucks are beautiful … however im a gear head above all else !!!
Id check the vent in the tranny .. its building pressure … i use the rubber expansion plug in mine .. the one with a washer n nut on it … and dont use silicone . Ive tried to get the rubber ones out with a pry bar and had no luck .

Man your starting to look fast! That does look like a decent surface your testing on, looks like it’s got some of a rubber base. It’s those real crap places that are gonna be hard.
That’s a lot of weight…it’s shame you can’t make chassis and suspension adjustments to make it hook and ditch all them prison yard plates in the back o that ol truck….I don’t know nothing of course but I feels like those plates be slowing it down.
