  1. Stephane was like a kid at Christmas upon seeing and hearing his 440. Considering how rough the motor looked at the start, the end result is nothing short of a miracle. Not too many people can claim to have crickets in the oil pan.

  2. Awesome video Nick another happy customer and great engine done. I never adjusted a six pack before. Funny and sad thing is now lot's of mechanics can't rebuild a carburetor anymore because they never worked on them before. I can rebuild carburetor but I can't adjust all 3 plus no one would drive in with one at my shop. Keep up the great work

  3. Awesome video Nick and George as always! I always watch your videos every week and try to watch every live show ! It was great seeing the enthusiasm in Stephans face the whole video, he is going to have one dream machine once Nick is done with it, he reminds me a little of Gerard Butler. Excellent camera work George ! Every video is better and better keep up the great work, I like how you did the back lighting in last week's video when the shop was dark, and Nick was tearing down the 426 hemi !

  4. Just wondering if you have ever done Dyno test on the GM ram horn exhaust manifolds. Gm used these back in the day on there high performance Small blocka just wondering what the hoarse power difference is between them and headers and also difference between the standard manifolds gm used on the standard engines. Love your show and the old school engines

  5. My 440 + 6 was the first engine I ever built. One thing I had a problem with was in the summer, it would vapor lock sometimes. I had my friend, Ron in 552 EMS Sheet Metal Shop made some aluminum heat riser block off plates for it. Night and day difference!!! Felt like I picked up 30 hp, no more vapor lock. Draw back was winter start up required playing with a manual choke for a half hour before it would hold a proper idle. Well worth it for the power gain. I was known as the Black guy with the purple car, ( dark burgundy '70 Cuda 383 car with a 440 in it ) in Oklahoma. We used to race behind the GM Plant behind Tinker AFB, where I was stationed in the early '80s.

  6. You guys need a Nicks Garage T-Shirt that says "and we'll take it from there"
Thanks George for all the time you put in making these videos. Great job with the editing and getting all the good shots.
Without you all of us would be missing out on this cool litle place.
