You gotta be INSANE to hit TOP SPEED on these!

These quad and scooter drag racers are absolutely dearness and insane to hit top speed on these chassis that where never meant to go this fast. The stakes are high at “Drag Survival”, the first drag racing event for the world’s quickest and fastest ATV, heavily modified Yamaha Banshee two stroke quads, and some of the most senselessly fast nitrous, nitro and Jet ski powered scooters in the world from legendary outlaw drag strip, Showtime Speedway in Clearwater, Fla. We take you in the pits a d behind the scenes to find out WHY these fearless riders go over 100 mph in less than 700 feet with 12-inch front tires and chassis made for the dirt. We also see Jr. Drag racing gone wrong as a fuel leak nearly ruins the day for a young drag racer. Enjoy this inside look at the world’s fastest quads and scooters! It’s Florida’s version of a Thailand motorbike race!

  1. I dont get it. I can go out and buy a gsxr1000-1300 for a couple of grand. Stretch it, remove weight, slam it, put -1,+2 sprockets with a DID chain, nitrous bottle and a cheap radial with a quickshifter. Runs
flat 8s all day at the strip for less than 10k on 91 octane. Simple, fast reliable for 10 years.

  2. Arctic Cat snowmobiles have a 1000cc 2 stroke 3 cylinder engine made by Suzuki its pretty bullet proof in the 200 hp range but much more available if needed. You can pick up old Thundercat snowmobiles in Canada cheap the sleds are 20 years old now.

  3. yes banshee engines when built are tough no doubt but why not nut up and put a tripple two-stroke and call it a day? if you put one of those in that super light frame you gotta a pair that clank!
