A guy bought a 1980 C30 3+3 Ramp Truck that’s been off the road for years. The plan is to load the entire family in it, throw the Ford Ranger on the back, and attempt to drive 800 miles to Florida!

Keep it and fix it up. Think you’ll find it very useful. Keep up the great videos.
First one I have seen with the factory tach, I knew it was a option but not very many made……… I think keep it and 4L80 swap it and pretty much leave it alone
I say build that block of the big for torques not so much horsepers and a 4L80E or gear vendors unit. Remember K. I. S. S. (Keep It Simple Sasquach). Oh yeah watch out for Finnegan if he hasn't hit you up already.
How about do a gearvenders overdrive install. Maybe some engine upgrades and clean it up.
Burn out truck?
keep the big block but spruce it up to make a little more power maybe a 6 speed or leave the turbo 400 and add a gear vender as far as the rest of it do a full resto as that truck is nearly mint btw love the alcoa rims
Put a 5 speed in her and park it in the tree row. She'll come in handy.
This truck is so "on brand" for you and what you do.
I say adopt it and give her a forever home.
A match made in heaven's garage.
keep it do it up
Nice looking truck by the looks shouldn't be much trouble LOL but ya never I
No proper bit of kit
6l with a 4L80 trans and keep her around
Cheapest path to highway speed. Great vendors overdrive.
Although a Duramax would be a cool swap in that old beast.
could probably sell it to Finnegan he has a problem
I've got uh single rear wheel crew cab K30. I take the thing in the mountains hunting, fishing and camping. If you take care of these rigs they'll get you there every time.
8.1 big block with Allison would be nice in there as well.. keep up the work and love this truck and channel
Cat, like from one of the Kodiaks of the day – that will make an awesome and efficient rig! Keep it it up brother and kudos to Jess and the boys! Awesome family! God bless!
Cummins swap it!!!!!
I think this one needs dolled up. I'd keep all 80s look but make it fresh and clean.
Overdrive and doll it up.
Maybe the nice folks at that Gearvendor place can help you out
Name her the "black knight"!
