Undo motor mounts and just give it a little jacky jack
Y’all should get that Squarebody Syndicate series(IDIDIT) shortened steering column to get that extra 2 inches of clearance, they have both floor shift and regular versions. A set of Syndicate series Dakota’s would be choice as well!
With the leaking coating the underside reminded me of one event. My family was racing a steel big block with no power adders circa 84. We drove to the track, switch to drag slicks, removed the mufflers and went racing. During one pass, at an outlaw track, two of us were in the car. Suddenly the smell of oil came through the car. I argued to fix it now but the other said no let's make another pass. We pull up through the lanes and the track personnel waved us to the grass and held up an oil filter pointing to us. We both check the oil pressure which showed 70 pounds. We open the hood and sure enough it was not good news. The hood, engine compartment, transmission and the full underside of the car were dripping a lot of oil. We ran an extra deep oil pan and didn't know how much oil was lost. A friend made a run on that day to get supplies including massive amount of rags. Replaced the filter and filled the engine with oil. After getting back to the pits we scavenged everything to get the searing hot oil wiped down as much as we could. We went back up to run and even the outlaw track was checking if we were dripping. We ran the rest of the da and finished second out of 35 cars. We put the street tires and exhaust on and were set for home. One problem. You could hear bangs of hard steel and steel. We were hurt but could it be that bad considering we made seven passes after the oil down? Our friend towed us home. That car dripped for SIX months. One rod, cam bearings and rod bearings had to be replaced as well as cleaning the debris out of the engine.
Phantom and Shawn – didn't want you to feel alone. Guess I fit in with y'all just fine!!!
A o ring over the swivel is also a good option
I put a bottle of brake fluid in my transmission to swell the o-ring in it. It worked for another 10,000 miles.
Here's a surefire way to guarantee zero oil leaks: DRAIN ALL THE OIL FIRST. #environmentallyfriendly Let's see how long that motor lasts before it explodes! I'm sure it'll do a few minutes worth of burnouts and donuts for you LOL.
I love that yall are friends with Clay Millican. He's such a rad dude.
Putting break fluid in the oil is not the smart move to do, it will Rot every single seal in that engine, valve stems seal, cam seal, crank seal, ex…. never do that
Aiden is what I picture Shawn looking like 25 years ago lol
Jack the gearbox up, and that pan will come out
You know shits bad when cheap oil aint cheap no more
Yeeeee harrrrrrrrrrr boy's
Kickin it sideways with a drink in your hand and a free lap dance from Phantom… you usually have to pay extra for that kinda action!
Shawn: "He's MAAD all the time!" Aiden: "Have you met my dad? Allright then!"
Talk to lutz he got that crc on lock lol
Used to manage at oreillys. If you go into your local store and tell them who you are and what you do you’ll at least get a commercial discount for being a business.
Every time my dad changed oil he would put like a half quart of Tranny fluid in it. I asked why, he says, ever seen the inside of a tranny? It's always clean, so the tranny flid helps from build up. He never had an issue doing that for 40 years.
I’m loving the content guy, keep it up!
That was so funny
Paint the truck a charcoal color or light gray
Im pretty sure thats a swapped column because thats not the correct steering wheel for that year. So it may have been a auto from the factory.
I Love burn outs!
