  1. Watching you guys all underneath like that doing a tranny swap brings back memories of my youth with all myself and my buddies bench pressing a transmission as we tried to stab it home. Love it. That's how things are done. I mean, it sucked, was dirty, painful, but it was good times and good memories. Seeing you driving with it all fogged and in the rain.. on those sketch tires… that reminded me of my matador over the grapevine with sketch tires, couldn't see anything, night time, going downhill… plus rain and I could feel the floaty lack of traction in my racing tires.. had to peal off my hands from the steeringwheel after getting to flat land… I don't know if I miss those days! HA!

  2. I think I remember that this was an original S-code 390/335 car. The 302's great, but something feels like another FE would be the right thing to do. Maybe a 410 or a 428 built to Cobra Jet specs. An FE build would be a lot of fun to watch on VGG. (then what to do with the 302? Freiburger's got a pretty decent '71 Torino wagon for sale…)

  3. As a resident of Northeast Pennsylvania I can tell you that I have never seen an O'Reilly in Pa. Sorry about that Derek. Autozone and advanced auto got all the stuff you'd need though man.

  4. Watching this video now. You mentioned the cut brake pedal, saying he did it for foot angle or something. If you decode the vin, you may find that it was originally an automatic car. On these Fords, the clutch pedal assembly can just be added to the auto assembly. You just have to cut the auto brake pedal down to the size of the manual pedal. It's a pretty easy process. It's what I did on my 66 Mustang when I swapped it from a C4 to T5.

  5. Love this car and I definitely enjoyed the engine build on StayTuned's channel, but it would still be great to see a big FE go back in this car. A 427 build like what the original owner had in it would be awesome! Love your channel, keep up the great content!!
