Who is Turbo John? Well you may have seen him with other automotive Youtuber’s such as, John Doc, Cleetus McFarland, SRC’s Billy “The Kid” and Tommy “Two Guns”, SRC Garage ” The Old Man”, and many others. But John is a NC local that got his start years ago with pro 275 drag radial, drag racing. He is no stranger to a 28/275 tire and has always ran small tires. As the name implies, he is known for having a nasty turbocharged mustang drag car. With his turbo smallblock chevy he has lengthy list of big names he has taken down over the years. Such as a few Street Outlaws members. He is now making a name for himself in the No prep world and even appearing in quite a few No Prep Kings races around the country, these races feature people such as Justin Swanstrom, Boosted Gt, Kye Kelly, and many more. As he’s told me in the past, he’s not really into the grudge racing or street racing scene and typically likes to stick to some sort of class racing. He prides himself on showing people how to go fast the right way, while still on a budget. He is the definition on a “budget racer”. He truely is a great guy and his team is full of equally wonderful people. Btw Mrs. Kelly, his wife, makes the best banana pudding. Just so you know. LOL
