What Vettel Just Announced Will Shake F1 Grid!

Sebastian Vettel started one of the biggest shake-ups in F1 history with his retirement announcement, and everybody was emotionally touched that it would trigger the biggest Cascade of events that saw many drivers shifting teams. On top of that, Vettel has hinted that a comeback season in F1 isn’t a far-fetched scenario! Especially if he will compete in a competitive car. He has also spoken about something about the direction in which F1 is moving that will shake the whole grid. Want to find out what Vettel’s had to say about this? Stick around with us!
Vettel has had two very bad seasons with Aston Martin, with the 2021 season being a bit better compared to the 2022 one. In 2021, he was able to score two podiums, one in Baku and one in Hungary, with the latter one being taken away from him since he wasn’t able to provide 1 liter of fuel at the end of the race. Still, 2022 was a miserable season and on multiple occasions, Vettel said that if he isn’t fighting for the top spots on the grid, the passion isn’t there and he just feels like there isn’t a point in racing in F1. Sometime after this statement, Vettel announced his retirement, as he posted an emotional video on his Instagram profile, talking about being a family man prior to being a racer and wanting to spend time with his kids and his wife, Hannah.

  1. “Biofuels” are a fraud. It takes more energy to produce most than you get out of them. Specifically, corn based ethanol is not scalable because there is not enough arable land, the problem of fertilizer and water. Then there’s the ethical problem of using food as a fuel when the world is facing widespread famine. It’s simply a terrible idea.

  2. Vettel, the f1 is green enough. We don't want another blender copetition in the world. They should take all the hybrid bullshit out of it. It si top car competition in the world. We need smoke gas and burnt tires

  3. What has happened in the last few weeks since he announced his retirement? Maybe even looked at family life and realised how boring it is compared to the jet set lifestyle of an air F1 driver!

I don't think a driver should be able to dangle retirement in front of the F1 fans and then take it back at will. Either you are retired, taking a sabbatical or you are changing a team falls. I think they should be the only options available to a driver

  4. I would be surprised if Szafnauer hasn't already contacted him but Alpine are full of surprises this season. Alpine could definitely give Vettel a car that could finish on the podium, while sadly Aston Martin aren't going anywhere fast. If Vettel and Ocon were regularly beating McLaren it would show Piastri the error of his ways.

  5. Just retire gracefully Seb,you’ve had a good go and had success but now a bit overrated and prone to making mistakes .Your a decent human being but it’s time to move on and try something else.

  6. A cool thing could be that he would join Audi in 2026. Audi is all about being "Made in Germany" to retain their DNA unlike Mercedes. So it kinda makes sense that Seb, a German Superstar, would join a German based F1 team.

    Edit:
Kind of like how Mercedes started with Nico Rosberg and the returning Michael Schumacher.
