I know he had a bad back injury that made him not be able to race for awhile. And was doing physical therapy for that. But I'm not sure why he isn't back yet. Maybe hooked on the pain meds or something is my guess
I read on JJ’s channel that he had a back problem that involved spinal compression that caused him constant pain. Additionally I believe he has had surgery and that’s the reason he’s off the show at this time.

He caught a case for messing with his kids. He is a sex offender and can’t be around his family. Pilgrim immediately dropped him. JJ had never said the real reason why he is gone but a friend of there family said the sex offender stuff.

He is in jail ,all you have to do is punch in his name into the Tennessee jail registry and up it comes. His wife Chelsea and kids moved into jjs house.. They did an episode of them adding onto his house for her and the kids. He will not say any thing about him he has been asked many times all he does is brush it off. I

Sim he is in Shelby county jail awaiting trial. I looked it up on the counties website. I promise you he’s there in the county jail

Fyi if you’re awaiting trial and haven’t been convicted the jail doesn’t have to make your info public like people that were arrested or are in jail for their sentence. He probably has attorneys that also fought to keep his info private and the sheriff probably agrees that him being a celebrity is in the counties best interest to keep crowds and mail from being overwhelming to keep him “private”. Whatever he did was enough for JJ and Chelsea to step away and say Joshua is on his own he made choices and is living his life. Once he’s sentenced it will be public. You all will have your answers. I don’t know what he was arrested for but I do know he’s in there and I hope he isn’t in a lot of trouble like his dad did. I also hope that he gets the help he needs if he has something going on.
