Cranking out these videos lately!
#moronnation
Great to see shop truck wasn t hurt to bad hopefull now it be good to go back streetracing soon
“It should be fine”. Hopefully you’re correct! You made that deal look easy Phantom! Thanks for all the videos lately! You’re killing it!
Man I’ve give you credit for being patient…..I would have done been moved on from that combo. That thing has fought you every step of the way since going turbo. Something somewhere just ain’t happy in that setup….16lb shouldn’t hurt a stock block deal without even having anything half way decent in it.
Keep it up man
Do you re-torque heads after a heat cycle?
Very cool tip putting Permatex copper on the head gasket.
Appreciate all the ls tech info you put out,at least your honest about your experiences with it, I've learned alot, specially when u had the blue ss. Keep cranking em out
TBM brakes, love their minimal design with maximum stopping power capabilities..
Good luck with the truck
Sounds better!! Burping that bitch ain’t fun!! #moronnation!!
I see I’m not the only one 2 motor mount bolts light
Why not use aviation sealer that way it would tack up and help hold the gasket in place?
It was a good shot.. let's get that little ol 427 in it now though!
We’re the ones you took off MLS? I copper coat too.
Hey Phantom.Who does your camshafts for that motor. i have a similar combo. 6.0 bored 10 over good rods and wiseco pistons and a square port head like you appear to have . Just curious what cam you run. Im the moron you met at precision. So the motor obviously has a precision 8884 on it. lol
Are you you using studs on the main caps? Or stock type fasteners?
Are the engine mounts stock? I am really surprised they live past first launch off the brake! Stock 6.2 breaks the left engine mount pretty easily! Also is that an off the shelf camshaft or custom grind? Sounds really good very nice job! It has to be a blast to drive! Really dig the content keep them coming!
Keep it up Phantom you looked tired but I can't speak for everyone but I appreciate the content and honesty.
You should put some 7-1/2 inch pistons in there and a new intaker!
You should make your own Youtube channel. would be cool. Would like to see more LS stuff
Hey Phantom, is shop truck your personal truck or is it 187 customs truck.
Nice shop. And content.
Awesome video!
You got a monster spool on that thing
What Cam specs is in the truck? Sounds good!
Copper coat is the best way to seal the head gaskets. I hope your going to the carwash next
Sweet
The one thing I don't like about shop truck is… The chrome bumper. IMO it should be gold or white but that's just me. Can't wait to see it on the streets again.
Y’all just keep doing what your doing love all the content.
Chinese head studs ?
WTF…..ewww.
You'd probably be better off not using the copper coat, there's a reason those Mahle gaskets have the rubber kind of stuff embedded into them.
Yea I've used copper coat myself, on old 80's era diesels…..and that's about it.
Now do you check the heads to make sure there not warped?
You the man Phantom!
The “Phantom Garage” videos are cool, keep these coming as well!!!
Good work
