We’re not done with fun and racing season yet folks, it’s just about a month away from the 2023 No Name Nationals in Sikeston Missouri and we’re going to some drag racing with our rowdy YouTuber friends! We know we are going, but the big question is, WHAT are we taking? And in what configuration? That’s where you all come in, let us know what you think!
There are essentially 2 options, Option 1 the Pontiac 455 powered 1970 LeMans or Option 2, the AMC 304 powered AMC Spirit AMX. The Pontiac is bigger, and more comfortable, and faster, and an automatic. The AMC AMX is smaller, possibly more fun, gets MUCH better fuel economy, and a stick shift. Decisions decisions. Pontiac with upgrades
I like the Pontiac far as a drag racing at the No Name National’s Don’t think you can go wrong with either.
I’d like to see you take the Lemans but here’s the catch , you have to use drag radials …. And maybe an OMG ATM carb and say a 150 shot of NX lol . I need 500 subscribers so I can do this lol have fun !!

AMC 401 Hornet or Gremlin. Something 304 AMC will do fine.
I imagine it boils down to which one starts on the morning you have to leave.

Well the worst possible decision would be the AMX with the untested max bore.
