We WON Roadkill Nights 2026 with our ~1,000HP AWD 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack SIXPACK! This is the untold behind-the-scenes story of what it took to get our twin-turbo Hurricane-powered Charger from Florida to Michigan, survive last-minute problems, dial in the AWD launches and ultimately WIN the Dodge Direct Connection Grudge Match at Roadkill Nights. 🏆
This build was anything but easy.
We left Tampa, Florida towing the Charger to Pontiac, Michigan — and almost immediately started fighting problems. A trailer tire was ready to let go, the exhaust brake on the tow rig got stuck, we were running on almost no sleep, and we still needed to test and tune the Charger before race day.
Once we finally made it to Michigan, the real work started.
We used a private test area to start dialing in the car, testing the transbrake, AWD launches, 8-speed transmission control and tune before heading to tech. Even the night before the event, I was still making changes because I didn’t want to leave anything on the table.
Then came race day.
Some changes worked. Others actually made the car SLOWER.
We went back to what we knew, added power and the Charger made its best pass yet. The biggest advantage wasn’t simply making horsepower — it was getting this massive AWD Charger out of the hole.
And it worked.
BOOSTED MOTORSPORTS WON ROADKILL NIGHTS!
But the story isn’t over.
The 2026 Dodge Direct Connection Grudge Match is a multi-stage competition. Winning Roadkill Nights means our Charger automatically advances to the final showdown in Las Vegas.
The next stage happens in September, when competitors submit a 1/4-mile ET as part of the points system. The three competitors with enough combined points will join us in Las Vegas, where four cars will battle for the overall Grudge Match championship.
And the ultimate prize?
The winning Dodge Charger goes to SEMA.
So now there’s a bullseye on our back — and we’re not done making this car faster.
At the end of this video, I also give you the closest look yet at what’s underneath our 2026 Charger and some of the companies and components that helped us win, including:
TurboLamik 8-speed transmission control
DCT sequential shifter
Pure Transmission
Mickey Thompson tires
Antigravity Batteries
Racepak SmartWire PDM
AEM digital dash
Holley fuel system / Earl’s plumbing
AAD Performance suspension components
HPT turbo
Granatelli wastegates, clamps & blow-off valve
RaceQuip seats & harnesses
Custom Boosted Motorsports turbo manifold & intercooler piping
Redline Designs custom wrap
There is still a LOT we’re intentionally not showing.
Once the Grudge Match is over in Las Vegas, I’ll finally be able to pull the curtain back and show you exactly what we did to make this Hurricane I6-powered 2026 Dodge Charger run like it does.
And yes… there was even some behind-the-scenes drama on race day involving a potential protest/safety complaint that had me rewiring the car in the staging lanes.
