On our quest to travel around to different race tracks with our team of motorcycles, we made it to South Georgia Motorsports Park for the 2024 Manufacturer Finals in Valdosta, GA. SGMP If you’ve seen some of our previous videos, you know that we’ve been trying to bring more excitement to the world of Super Stock racing. This is the easiest style of motorcycle racing to get into since it’s stock motorcycle class. If you have a stock motorcycle and the proper gear, you can race! And again, if you’re wanting to know what it takes to get into super stock motorcycle racing, or what the rules to super stock are, reach out to us and we can help you out. Either by getting your bike set-up or giving more information on the class. Street E.T. is another class we are running in. We started with a pretty stacked lineup of race motorcycles, but we did run into a few issues along the way. We’re still getting Sean Hensons grudge bike dialed in and this was a great event to get more testing done. One issue we had was the waste gate on the turbo. Some of the bolts had backed themselves out so we had to open it up and locktite the bolts back into place so we could keep making runs. Some of the other bikes we brought were my ZX10 Super Stock Bike, a Hayabusa, ZX14, GSXR1000. Another racer we had with us this weekend was Jyrec Givens. Over all our super stock line-up is growing and getting powerful! We had a few more issues. One being the brand new Kawasaki ZX14r blowing it’s engine. We’re not 100% sure what happened yet, but once we dig into it, we’ll let you know. The superstock busa also had an engine failure this weekend. How long does a motorcycle engine last? Most race engines will last about a year or so due to the high revving abuse these motorcycles go through on the race track. It’s just part of the game. I also did some map adjustments in the ECU as we were doing test runs to ensure we get the bikes dialed in the best we can. A lot of people think you can only tune while the bike is on the dyno, but when we race these, we tend to make little changes after making passes at the track so we can make sure it runs exactly how it needs to for each specific track we visit. We’ll be visiting and running our bikes and more and more tracks soon so keep your eyes open for the next uploads!
