  1. That spring test seems pretty archaic without a dial indicator to show you exactly where valve is opening wouldn’t be hard to incorporate one so you don’t have to do this guest work of where you’re at exactly

  2. I wondered how Slink would react to his actions being so instrumental in winning and losing. The do think you helped him to grow up and be accountable – hence his move to another role with less direct responsibility. I wish the best to you both.

  3. Wish my boss would offer more money but no matter how many head gasket jobs I do or engines or transmissions and brakes. Same pay more work… at least you tried. You’re a good boss in my eyes..

  4. All the best to Slinky. Great video, I enjoy learning about these cars running at this high level. Better to be safe than sorry , tear that Hemi down. It will be interesting to see what you find. Thanks.

  5. As someone who has used that very tool, I can tell you that the last spring you checked on the drivers side in this video is weak. I dont know if you missed it because you were filming and trying to teach the new guy, but hopefully you catch it before …….well you know, dont want to speak that evil into existence for you bro…lol.

  6. Justin I know cars inside and out I've done multiple engine swaps I know everything there is about engines and cars in general I can travel no problem and have no issue staying up for hours to get the job done to get that W I will do whatever it takes and work my ass off to get the job done I've been working on cars for 15yrs now I even own and run a small engine repair business I can work on and fix pretty much anything with an engine I get along great with others and I'm an extremely fast learner ive been trying to get ahold of you for months now

  7. I don’t know why more YouTuber’s don’t use a remote mic. That’s one thing I truly appreciate with Channels like Vice-Grip.

The only thing I will say negative, you can hear you laboring to breathe. I can deal with that, and being able to hear you.

I listen to these more than watch, while I’m driving

  8. He might be a good friend. I seen this coming from the 1st day you hired him. You need to hire professionals, quit f**** around with your friends. Sorry, I love your channel. But the truth is the truth.

  9. Best of luck to Slinky, though can't say I'm crazy surprised. Being on a race team like that isn't just a job, it's honestly a lifestyle, and a lot of folks can claim they'd love to do it, but most will burn out quick. Really hardest part will be just finding someone who loves racing, and enjoys the travel, etc…long as they willing to learn you can likely train them in all all the race car related stuff.

  10. I don't think you have to apologize for the camera being a little far away.. as long as we can hear you and your not trying to explain something to where we need to see what your talking about your good lol..
