Years ago when I first started running my car on M1 I picked the brain of a buddy of mine who raced Alcohol dragsters and funny cars about setting up my fuel system as well as do’s and don’ts of running Methanol and one of the first things he warned me about was that M1 was corrosive to the engines top end and it’s total lack of lubricity which he warned me to whenever possible run a top end lubricant in the fuel to help negate that problem as well as always drain your fuel system after a weekend of racing and run then run the engine on a quart or two non oxygenated 100 octane race gas to wash the methanol out of the fuel system to help prevent deterioration of hoses from methanol and help prevent the injector(s) fuel pump etc from exposure to methanol. As far as what I used to run except at National Events where I might get fuel checked I added Marvel’s Mystery oil to my Methanol and later switched to VP M2 additive both of which I throughly believe work the only pain in the as* thing about running the stuff in my fuel is it can cause you to fail post race fuel sample check but since I only rarely ran National events it wasn’t that big of issue for me.

What is the micron level on the filter you use ??? You might have to go up a couple sizes. , You definitely need to get a much bigger filter !!! The pressure from the pump probably collapsed that small filter I wouldn't have a filter between the pump and the injectors the pump doesn't need any added restriction …. we always filter our fuel before we even put it in the car.. not to mention we run a strainer in our funnel just in case ….

Race team I worked for had one of those bounce houses, we set up the scales in it. Kept what we were doing out of the public eye. When you fold it up be careful how tight the folds are, we put a bunch of small holes in ours folding it up too tight.

the filter cartridge looks like it was put in backwards, we had the same problem with a friends oil system with a cartridge system, in between rounds someone who normally work on the car changed the filter, put the cartridge in backwards and it did the same thing yours did, sucked it all in. motor still got oil, but all the oil ended up in the pan and not back to the tank. double check which was the filter goes in.
Go with a System1 inline fuel filter!
