Was This Bus A Dangerous Death Trap Driving Down The Highways?

This bus has even more shocking maintenance discoveries! A very sketchy previous repair on this bus is unbelievably dangerous and inappropriate repair on such a large vehicle that’s running on the highways. Bad spindle, no oil in a hub, bad bearing race, air brakes completely out of adjustment and even more defects.

  1. I'm sure someone else has already said it – and it is an old adage but extremely true – Maintenance doesn't cost, IT PAYS. Just using a grease gun regularly will help stop extremely expensive repairs from happening on most heavy equipment.

  2. Here in New South Wales,( Eastern Australia) All heavy vehicles must be inspected annually, either at a government inspection station or an approved heavy vehicle inspection station.
Also, all vehicles on NSW roads are subject to random inspection by mobile government inspectors.
Hopefully the kind of problems that you are seeing are prevented by these random inspections.
