This video will not change your life, but you might find it interesting to see some more parts testing and speed runs on the v8 ski. Also we will be showing the big changes and upgrades that will be happening in the upcoming build season (winter months) Todays runs are a testing a bunch of little modifications including ride plate adjustments. The v8 ski is still running the naturally aspirated 6.0 ls based engine.

Would love to see you race a Hayabusa jet ski
Imagine a Cherry Red Turbo(s)…Seems a GM, Engine Valley Supercharger might work better,
add in a cooling plate as well… Love the project, Good Luck…
Turbskis should be sticking out the hood just like cleetus would do.
Get an OEM 2014 FZR svho ride plate and send Deans Team in Orlando FL for them to modify it.
Been running turbo ls setups for many years. U dont want to use that gt45 turbo. Its slooow to spool and huge/heavy. A pair of gt35 clones are dirt cheap and work great. Or a single 78/75 knock off on ebay will spool quicker, make more power and take up MUCH less space. Good luck!
think a supercharger would be so much easier than trying to plumb a water jacketed turbo manifold, just carve a little more out of the seat to make it fit.
Commenting for the algorithm! Can’t wait for this build szn y’all are the most talented jet ski mechanics and fabricators out there
Can’t wait for it to go 90+mphh
YES ! I was watching for your video earlier, and then gave up and went out to my garage… What a nice surprise !
Don't waist time in the pump
Try to get more RPM to a 10.000 you will see a huge difference.. and a TURBO i always mention since you start the modification yes it's a must
Good luck.look for jetsky Hydrodrags national
Your see what I mean
commenting so i get updates
Awe yeah boys
Should've used a smaller urbo like one out of a motorcycle
Jacobs new haircut is fresh
Merry Christmas Boys! We are getting freakin serious now! That thing is going to be a rocket ship! Awesome job!
The porpoising might be caused by the trim being set to high.
Get a longer ride plate that comes out near the end of the nozzle.
TURBOOO TIMEEE???!!!
So rad!!! I’m freaking pumped!
I think you are aware of it, but turbos usually generate huge waste heat that have to be insulated some way, or alternatively you need some really serious air flow in the engine compartment if its to be used for more than a few minutes at a time. Cheers dudes.
Have you upgraded the cam? You can go as big as 230s for duration without causing reversion.
The hopping I think is from stuffing the pump usually have to add pump pressure relief in
Someone somewhere weather it be a Yamaha engineer or other. Should be able to tell you that max capacity of the current water flow on the Yamaha pump.
Otherwise you guys are killing it.
Gilmer style belt drive for your overdrive setup. An aluminum block is definitely what it needs. Subtract 100+ pounds, add lightness, go faster quicker!
Would a procharger be easier than a turbo? I’m super pumped that you’re going turbo though I’m just thinking out loud. Looking forward to the upcoming build videos.
2022: Dialing in small block V8 engine prototype.
2032: Dialing in Railway Locomotive engine prototype.
I said a long time ago you guys needed a bigger pump, but seeing a full size berkley in there it's obvious you need something that is an in-betweener size.
Add a third nacelle
Screw that Berkley just go with a 12 vain pump and it bolt in.
You guys deserve alot more subs..
We run 95+ in fx class river race boats with Berkley style pumps engines are zz6 chevy crate engines nothing special alum head 350ci. I think your moving in the write direction with that pump.
