V8 Showdown! Winner-Take-All Drag Race! 1951 Ford Flathead vs 1958 Studebaker Champion…

Hi guys! Time for the final installation of our V8 Showdown series! We took our 1958 Studebaker Champion and our 1951 Ford Victoria out to the “track” and lined ’em up… One-on-one; winner-take-all! It seems there was an unsettled score from the Straight-8-Showdown from years ago, and Agents 303 and 7678 saddled up their old rides one more time… JonathanW joined us too, from North Carolina, and we can check out his 1956 Studebaker Hawk with Packard power!
Thanks to everyone who ordered a “T” shirt… They are on their way now! We’ll discuss the new calendars this week, too!
Also: We just got in a new shipment of “Same Old Shit” coffee mugs, so get them while they last, haha!
Oh! I do not have a Telegram account or any bullshit contest going! Do not respond to any of these “contest winner” replies; they are a scam.
Thanks to everyone who subscribed to our channel here, and thanks also for all of your “likes” and comments!

  2. It's so good to see the '50 Buick and the Packard racing again. In the mid-60's my parents had a '52 Buick same color as yours, and our next-door neighbors had the exact same black Packard.

  3. What a great episode I enjoyed every minute of it thank you Scott for all the hard work you put in to the cars and the video and the agents involved in the cars thanks so much.

  4. Very awesome!! Well done everyone involved! And no sparing of the cars either; they really put their feet down!

I've really enjoyed watching you all get these cars going again. Well done getting the Vicky's engine all cleaned out and running again. That looked terminal but it runs really well! I guess you can't judge it by how it looks. The Studebaker's engine didn't look as bad, but really was terminal. But when the substitute engine roared into life on all 8 cylinders after only a crank and a half, I shed a tear ha ha!

I love this show and watch it every week. I feel bad that I can only watch to the very end and press the like button, but I've got to keep the roof over our heads…! Cheers!

  5. Well where to start? A keynote episode, as we reach the finale of the much anticipated 2023 Showdown. Firstly a very big thank you to you all, the editing, video work, green screen and all that extra setting up to shoot shots to provide us with the fullest and involving coverage. Second an equally big thank you to the drivers, and your new reporter for the extra fun and frolics at the track. An especial thank you to Laura for the venue, for driving, and doing so well, plus the usual pithy comments which always amuse me. All in all a great effort and a fitting finale to this summers work on the cars, and for sharing all of it plus Jonathons contribution and a re-match with the Buick/Packard . Very best wishes as I sit in my "T" shirt
