What’s good my boy merry Xmas to you an yours keep that shit rolling man till 2023 an beyond
Just grabbed an entire system from Skar for my Jeep. Definitely good bang for your buck. I’m putting the same thing in the SS. I’m more of a highs and mids person than a bass head. Can’t wait to hear the finished product.
Good pic up, like you said make sure they shave that back cause had to get mine reshaped.
Car Looks good it came together very well. Look into getting some APR faster for your headers

You can wire those dual 4 ohm subs parallel down to 1 ohm ….that amp is 1 ohm stable and is rated at 900 watts…those subs can handle that all day!!! Also keep the wire…you already got it and you never know in the future if you may add other amps to you car….also look into maybe doing a big 3 on your car as well…. that never hurts
I'll stay tuned, to get an idea for when I get to that point on mine.
How much did the wires n speaker combo run you
Does the amp take 1/0 gauge wire
The 1/0 ofc is definitely over kill for that amp 4guage is more then enough but with that sead you keep the 1/0 your futcherproofed if you upgrade in the future and the vd subs are good they really don't do verry well in a small sealed box like you would want a shallow mount sub to they like a bigger ported box
Got sksrs in both my cars and love them. They're a good quality budget speaker
Throw that Kenwood away throw it away or sell it for $50
Get a skar 1500 and two skar SRD 12s and a skar two 12s box
Lock tight will fix the bolt problem… Nice ride.
You can't go wrong with skar at all I brought my sound system before I had the motor in my SS rockfordfosgate highs and mids just brought 2 kicker 12s in a tuned box. However I might swap that out for 2 or 3 (8s) them flowtech tech headers is going to make your motor breathe a whole lot better and give it a different sound too make sure you get some good quality gaskets for it
I like the idea of having the speakers out the way so you still have trunk space
That's not enough RMS for your speakers, when you divide that 500rms your speakers only getting 250rms a piece, they could use a lot more power. I know you said you didn't want to beat down the block, just thought I would let you know you need about a 1k RMS amp for them speaker or a 800rms.
Just letting you know for those subs you can’t do a small box. Those subs like air space. I have the zvx 15 sub and the Skar 2000.1 amp. I’m doing 2 of the Skar 15 In my SS Monte. Keep that amp kit…you’re going to need it. And you might want to think twice on that kenwood amp.
