My car ran like crap when i brought it to you ! It runs sweet now !!! The only thing to work on now is the hard acceleration from 1000 to 1400 rpm in 2nd gear… the engine goes lean and backfires, stumbles and protests ! Once the engine gets to 2200 rpm or so it begins to smooth out. I have spoken to the Holley reps many times and it really depends on which rep you get to speak with.The last rep I spoke with told me that I haven't driven the car enough and I need to do repeated acceleration runs until the computer learns the fuel map tables !
George, like you mentioned, it took 5 reps before i got the fix for the deceleration stumble ! In one day I spoke to 3 reps, I called and got no answer so I called again and again. Finally I spoke to Ryan Hiens and he said… no problem, do this and this and that…all on the hand held screen. You must be persistent ! I have not found the answer to my low rpm pedal stomp yet but I will ! When I do I'll make sure that anyone who cares knows about it !
