Nitro Circus Top Fuel Team with Travis Pastrana would be interesting to the sport
He did a great pedal job on that 2nd run, had the knowledge to not stay in it when the tires lit up. Good thing the throttle stop was still in place during that reverse back to the line on the first run, that could've been much worse.

Shoulda gone to Frank Harley’s school first. These things ain’t trail bikes or stock cars. It’s also imperative to know where the reverser is after the burnout.

He's a great driver and that can't be dismissed but this totally different.
Insignificant mistakes here can cost you your life. It takes every ounce of your time and concentration to do this at any kind of competitive level. All the guys who do this every week do nothing else. The margin of victory between drivers averages ….. .007 or less. NHRA Top Fuel competition is the closest its ever been between drivers this year in the history of the sport .

I'm sure they had the motor kill switch close at hand and may have used it. Might have been the audio but RPM sounded way too high at idle. Any way good to see he got a few shorties in, prolly 250 just in those short runs. All good!

They should give him a really soft tune, so he can go A to B without any drama. The car seemed a little too hot for a rookie. Travis wisely did not make a full pull.
I think it'll be awesome if he gets a full run in , who knows maybe he'll stick around
