Mick Mansour’s crash at the 2022 GT-R Challenge at Cootamundra Airport was the first crash at the event in 14 years of running. It was also the worst GT-R crash we’ve ever seen but the safety equipment did its job and saved his life. In this video, Mick tells the story both before, during and after the crash. He also talks about how he will be back, bigger and better than ever. Incredible story that needs to be watched in full.

Them fat wheels flexed and tucked as hard as they could when that GTR went sideways and as soon as the weight transfered the car literally jumped onto it's top and at that speed it just started doing barrel rolls. When you build something crazy like that you better expect a lot of feedback when things go wrong.

My heart dropped watching that car get loose, not because I was upset the car was about to be wrecked but because you were just a passenger after that tire caught the grass, so glad to have you around still, keep being an advocate for safety❤️

Typical day in NASCAR:
11 years ago I had a accident which I lost control on wet tarmac. Car slided across 3 lanes ,mounted the curb and knocked down A huge lamp post. Car rolled twice and and down a small ditch. My bolt on Cusco roll cage saved me. I escaped without any injury. I still have the photos of the aftermaths.

I know how you feel. My ex gf rolled my WRX while I was asleep. I saw the car once and never went back to see it again. The tow company kept it and I had no interest to see it again. I also had bad/weird dreams which eventually went away.
