Still, they managed to win the championship yet again, and send Alonso to one of their rivals on a high note.
However, Alonso didn’t expect that he’ll meet such a fierce competitor in Lewis Hamilton in his first year at McLaren. Lewis Hamilton was just a rookie, and rest assured that both of them went toe-to-toe in the 2007 championship fight, ultimately losing it by 1 point to Kimi Raikkonen, the man who is the last Ferrari champion to this day.
