Driven by a fierce grudge to defeat Ferrari at Le Mans, Ford created the revolutionary GT40. Designed by engineering visionaries Eric Broadley and Roy Lunn, this low-slung weapon was packed with a massive, roaring 7.0-liter V8 engine.

To maximize raw racing performance, the interior was built completely spartan. It featured a simple steering wheel, mechanical toggle switches, and zero luxury padding.
