  1. Imagine how many events you could win if you actually maintained your motor, realized there is a life cycle to aluminum rods, and didn't waste passes for b.s. world records by yourself on a dragstrip tearing up your engine. Lol

  2. There's a lot of money down the drain there bubba when you hit it and you knew something was wrong it didn't sound right you should have got out of it and it probably wouldn't slugma rods through the block if you would let out

  3. I think there’s this huge misconception that aluminum rods last a long time and they don’t they have a fatigue point and once they reach that fatigue point it’s catastrophic failure with no signs I’m assuming you hit that point ! I highly recommend you look into getting titanium rods. That is what I’m doing. You can order them from Crower. If you get 12 or more. And as far as I’m concerned, titanium is lighter than aluminum and has no fatigue point

  4. Don’t beat yourself up to much Kyle! You will bounce back with a new engine for the MR2 and be back on the road in no time! Maybe there is some better options for connecting rods out there? Also I wonder how many heat cycles those aluminum rods your using are good for?
