Ur Quattro always wins in the fun factor category.
I have `net zero` desire for any EV and will never buy one… Love the real Quattro.
Not race it against a TM3
I can recall an older "My daddy will buy me anything I ask for!" lad (Mid 20's!) having a brand new one of these gorgeous Quattro beasts all those years ago. I would have been either 18 or 19 and had a little 2nd or 3rd hand Mini Clubman.
But was I jealous of his Audi Quattro that his daddy got for him?

British belief that electric cars are the solution is a joke, never do you investigate diesel solutions or inspire individuals to find another solution, our world needs further investment to achieving a zero carbon footprint, the batteries of electric cars are causing a major carbon footprint, which doesn't get added to the vechiles actual carbon footprint,it simply gets swiped under the rug. So get it right or don't do it

The iconic Audi Quattro looks good, the new etron is just a big, heavy and ugly brick ! Plato looks very small in the etron
Nobody wants electric sports cars. Keep that to the Toyota Citorises and Hyundais. EV’a suck and they’re absolutely no better for the environment. What happens in 20 years when all those toxic waste filled batteries get dumped into the ocean? Give me rack and pinion steering and a 6 speed manual anyday

A 2-door Audi E-Tron GT effectively.

Why don't you do a direct comparison between an "old" and the new golfing equipment???With the same swing speed of course.
That Quattro, being on a Q plate, is a bitsa car, isn't it ?
Registered new in 1997 according to DVLA.
Maybe it's been reshelled or something.
Why's it on a Q plate?
Hard to imagine the Gene Hunt of 2050 saying "Fire up the E-tron".
Why the zooms and the pans are combed? Ugh.
How much of a difference would a fresh old quattro do? Ie new engine fresh or updated brake pads
That Audi Quattro is a beautiful car.
Given the choice, I’d pick the old Quattro. That busted old petrol engine under the bonnet can get a heck of a lot more range than the battery in the E-Tron, or indeed any other EV, and you know what else? That range will not decline over time. I can’t say the same for all the electric cars out there.
Old Quattro for me, anytime.

As others have asked – what's the deal with the Q plate? Doesn't smell like a real/legit Quattro to me, and though I'd ADORE one….. I wouldn't touch this one with a bargepole because of that plate.

Electric cars , dull as ditch water with no soul. They have made them like this to make them appealing to those who can afford one. I only clicked on this vid for the Quattro.

Non hybrid cars are useless in Australia even then there are huge issues. When your drive way is 100ks long , and the next town is 300ks away and you have to carry half a ton of horse feed on corrugated dirt roads. You wouldn't make it home In an EV. A a hybrid may do the job, but give me petrol or diesel to cross flooded creeks.
