  1. Sim ABCXYZ – In my opinion on the regular 405 show having Shawn be the main commentator is no-where near what Big Chief / @Midwest Street Cars / Justin Shearer does. Like him or hate him Justin makes that show successful in my opinion. Shawn so far isn't doing a bad job of the commentating – I just don't care for him myself.

  2. I dvr the shows and I pretty much have street outlaws through half the week. 3-4 hours long show plus if there’s a Tuesday show. Pretty cool keep them coming. All these shows keep all the racers working and making money through the year not just 405. Memphis, gone girl, Npk etc. keep them coming.

  3. I’m sure discovery isn’t hurting. People love it. Producer’s are keeping everyone working. It’s a good thing. It’s crazy that people in the beginning were wanting more. Then when we get more street outlaws people complain there’s too much.

  4. Hey little brother, it is Pastor Dave from Tampa, It's been a minute bro. Unfortunately I was back in the hospital with my pancreatitis and dealing with that. I was in there for 2 weeks two different times. Anyway, been trying to keep up. I may be completely wrong, but in watching this video, I just wish they would go back to the format of the original 405 Street outlaws, talking it up, and backing up all the stuff they say with winning races; like they used to, proving that they were the best in the country. I liked it when a different state would come to Oklahoma to try to prove themselves; or how the 405 crew would go to a different state proving that they were the best that way. And then they threw in the comic relief with Az and Farm Truck.

I know people like a lot of the spin off shows. I felt like it ultimately slowly started taking away from the 405 original show.
The original 405 layout, I think is what they need to go back to. Getring back to old grassroots, and doing it that way again. That doesn't mean they can't do all the other stuff that they've been doing, but it just seemed like that competition was much better, more ernest, or in other words, the 405 crew seemed a lot more hungry back in the day. Not saying they're not hungry now, don't get me wrong. But in comparison to America's list, versus the original 405, the intensity was much greater in the 405 to me; which made it more awesome. Not this long and drawn out stuff they are introducing. I wish they would just do it from a state vs state platform like they use to.

It broke the show down into more watchable compartments. I think it would be awesome if they would just challenge all 50 states like they have. But the exception would be, racing one state at a time. Do one show on the best drivers they have in that state, up against the 405, like they used to in one hour. Like, Washington State on this date; then we will be in California on this date, and so on. Right now with so many shows out there, it seems like it needs to be reeled in a little bit and refined once again.

Quite honestly when they went to America's list from the 405 as an extension of it, it kind of bummed me out. It just lost that personal touch with all the original crew. I don't know bro, It just seemed like winning meant a lot more to those guys than it does now. Not saying that they don't like the win, obviously they wouldn't be putting all that time, effort, and money into their cars if they didn't want to win, please don't get me wrong. Like I said, it just seemed like they were more hungry then and it meant more. Being on top of that list meant more than them winning $10,000 that on whatever night they would win. The competition was pure and awesome. The spirit of that show was to be on TOP of the LIST not on HOW much money they got. Don't get me wrong of course, money is always helpful. I hope you know what I'm trying to say, I'm just talking about the SPIRIT of the original 405 show. It seemed much different than the shows now. I am glad they are all still running though. God bless you man!!!!!! You're doing an awesome job!!!!!!! You have come a LONG WAYS bro. You have a lot to be PROUD of! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK BRO!!!!

    Sincerely, Pastor Dave Ungar

  5. Hey little brother, one more thing. I'm going to achieve said when Americans list first came out, that the 405 list kind of lost its meaning, etc. He said cars are Broke down, all the different little loopholes they could use to race or get out of one etc etc. I think at that point is when they should have took it state to state. Having it in Oklahoma but also having it other places. And then the climax of the season would be Then taking the best racer from each one of those states and only one racer, and having all 50 of them race for like cash competitions like they do in cash days. Is the producers definitely that I think want more money, And just produce more shows hoping that one of them will hit again. I think if they were to get rid of all the shows and just go back to the way it was, but make it a little bit bigger, and show them prepping their cars out on the streets like they used to etc and that was awesome. Sometimes simpler is better

  6. I happen to like the Memphis show, Fastest in America, Americas list, and then the original show, in that order. Just not the biggest fan of the same ten guys racing each other over and over again. Really like the drivers, just not the list. They should compete against other areas more often, or do more cash days type stuff. At least Americas List has more competitors from other places trying to prove their among the fastest in the country, even though its still list racing at its core.

  7. The lack of direct involvement of 405 and especially Big Chief has lead to where we are now. Of course he's out all together.
It was better when they were more heads up racing other teams. Team against team. I thought it was better.

  8. They have to bring back Big Chief. With all due respect to others. His personality was why I got hooked.
No one would know who the rest of the racers without having Big Chief and the 405.

  9. Never watched a single episode of any other show except the OG 405. I was watching 187 Customs YouTube but on their Easter video Shaw made a comment about naming his car and that if Discovery didn't like, he would change the name. That single comment he made in my opinion kind of proves that he is a sell out of sorts. It's like he can't think for himself anymore without Discovery telling him what to do.

  10. Sim, you may be on to something when it comes to the money issue. Unfortunately most everything comes down to money. I can't say for sure, but using the same logic that you use for the NPK push by the executives because of profitability because of less complications in getting permits and also at the track most all of the logistics are already in place, all the TV crew has to do is show up and set up their cameras basically. With that being said it could be that maybe we could be seeing JJ's Armdrop events start to be filmed for Discovery airing in the future. Because back on March 13, 2022 the Discovery camera crew came to his Pickwick Event and did several hours of filming. Just sayin. I think that filming his events would make for awesome TV because of the fun easy going family atmosphere at these events. Also the viewers would still get to see some of the big name racers that sometimes come to his events and they would also get to see a bigger variety of new cars and racers. Just to name a few, Birdman, Jason Cantu, Brent Self, Cory Cox, Buster Kent, Danny Madewell (milkman) just to name a few, plus all of the MSO racers.

  11. The npk stuff as never ben as good as the 405 show in beiging lot people an myself lk what chef brought to the show an the raceing some of the other shows r ok but nothing there to keep me interested an ussally turned the channel
