What class is this? What sanctioning body? How do they find near identical cars to race. Why so many GT-Rs? Nothing is explained. It all looks baffling to me.
Coming from an italian who was born and raised loving motorsport and watching everything from f1 to gt cars to moto gp/ superbikes I don’t understand the point of this, putting 1000s of hp just to go on a straight line and not even being able to take a turn…

I’ve never watched a drag race in my life. This was fascinating. I love the colours and stylings of the cars, and I love the horsepower and torque, and I love the speed and randomized/managed risk.
