Watch the paint! Might scratch it. 😛
You got lucky with the newer ball joints. I yank the bottom strut bolt to give me more space, and then deal with the nut on the ball joint, followed by breaking the spindle free from the ball joint. If you take off both strut bolts, and then go about hitting the ball joint to break it free, the whole a-arm can freely fall down with each wack. Having the upper strut bolt in place, stops that from happening.
Always learning from ya bud! Keep givn er!
Bro you scared of that spring. Lol.
Thanks for always posting videos.. learned alot from you and got the motivation back
I'm still 4 luggin around! lol!
Three hours to remove the heads & intake and your an expert, it would take me two days
I have the caddy brakes on my new edge and they are amazing I can't wait to get them on my foxbody next
That SN interior looked decent lol need interior parts for my SN !
Just take the whole car
I will be representing at the Columbus swap this weekend with my NEO shirt I bought at foxtober fest
I always use two hammers one on each side of ball joint or tie rod end hitting both side at once. Pops the off with out damage to nuts, threads,or the stud.
Glad you snaged the explorer intake. I have one ,molded it by cutting open the end. File/grind/ flat. Make a gasket . Use a piece of 1/4" flat aluminum for a cover drill and tap to close up the hole after you ports the runners which are now assesable.
How'd you get the front SVE wheels to fit? I test fitted those same rims recently on a friend's foxbody and the backside of the rim rubs into the LCA
Always cool to see some old school upgrades from used car parts. Seeing this just reminds me of doing ball
joints, struts, steering links on a 02 Mustang GT last month.
Awesome mod. I run 2004 mustang dual piston pbr brakes with those spindles and still fit 15inch skinnies on my fox. Great mod for the money
dont hit the ball joint, hit the spindle where the ball joint goes into the spindle, she'll pop right out for ya.
