Race 13- I knew the motor needed to be freshened up, but the night before heading out to Texas, I find a lot more is wrong with the motor than I originally thought. I overnighted as many of the parts as I could to Texas Motorplex. I needed to rebuild this entire motor. I am no stranger to rebuilding motors, but the coolest thing about this rebuild was SCOTT PALMER and his Top Fuel team came over to my pit and helped me and the guys get this done. This was by far one of the coolest experiences in my life. They are some good guys for sure. It was a really fun time getting to hang out and work with all of those guys. And of course we got it built and drew our chip without a test pass and made a pretty good hit.
Then to No Problem Raceway- DANG! The mosquitos are so big there, they will carry you off! It was hot, muggy, but the fans blew it away! We did some test/grudge racing and then chip draw. Not the outcome we wanted, but we still had fun.

If it weren't for bad luck you'd have no luck
Love seeing you have a little help!!
God Damn Chris got fuckin old quick.
Can't wait to see you back in your own ride
Scott Palmer and crew are a great bunch of people.
Scott is the type of guy that would help anyone that he can, and Tyler is the same way.
