Hey Steve, Did you have the camera on mirror in that first pass? That really looked like it had a hard left. All the text was right but the truck went to the left hard. 😉 Great video either way.
I've said it before, I want Steve to be my doctor. It's awesome the way he reads the vitals and puts the effort on to make it better. Who else can determine its a quart low on dinosaur juice.
Why is that you use CO2 and not HPA tanks for the boost controllers? If you were to use an SCBA tank I think it would last for more than a day of racing, HPA is not affected by air temp as much and it would be lighter.
In some previous vid I noticed the Wagons bump in process was really smooth… how did you do that ? I can't imagine the wear on the trans that allows that to be so smooth. :0
What a beautiful machine! Steve, Thanks so much for walking us through the process here. I'll probably never have a car of that caliber but its great to be a little less ignorant of what goes on. Great video and commentary. That young man Kyle can drive!
First thing I would do is put a Hoosier on it…..I think that would help it some. Other than that I think it just needs some playing with shock settings and maybe a bar change. Definitely a cool truck like to see how it progresses
Looks like the truck wasn’t settled good after the bump in on the last hit. Almost like it was rocking back just as Kyle was letting off of the trigger. Am I miss reading it or is that what was happening?
Hey Steve! I really like how in depth you go in your videos in the track tuning! I don't race, tune or crew chief anymore, so I'm racing vicariously through your vids. That truck was pretty well worked to have such a decent showing on the short times. Will be interesting to see how he trims that 60 foot with that heavy of a truck and all that damn power! I'm hoping he brings you out a few more times, so we can see some updates! This truck is so badass! Great vid! Well appreciated
142 and a 8. 142 and a 8, terrific where in the heck 142 and a 8. Your standing on it dude. Just slip it down here. This is a $10, the tab is $13. Your 2 minutes late dude. Ah come on I couldn't find the place. Wise man says forgiveness is divine but never pay full price for late pizza. I gotta get a new route, and I thought I delivered everywhere.

Pretty sure I hear a big exaust leak up front on one cylinder. Might wanna give it a once over.
That truck is insane! The sound is amazing too. What a creation.

Way to go, Kyle and Steve! That's a fast old truck.
What's the compression ratio?

Looks like a little bump steer…
Nice driving. Sick truck for sure.
Your young man can drive! Damn!
no offense to my dad rip. But I wish he was more like Steve. What a Team. Thank you for every lesson.
I see this truck all the time in Benton! Awesome to see an SME in it now!
Gives a whole new meaning to HOOK N BOOK… LOL

Great work Kyle. Your definitely on your way to 7s.
Might need a bigger bullet in us Stang though
Really like this customer build test video. Seeing what your motors are capable of with shop and track testing. Sweet!
Shessh
Steve should get some California Car Dusters which doesn’t scratch paint that has dust on it like micro towels ect do. Plus works really fast.
Anyone know what drag strip track this is?
Awesome truck!!! Sounds like a exhaust leak in the engine compartment.
That is one bad machine. Love it

Kyle was getting settled in with the truck and doing a very good Job behind the wheel I'm sure on a properly Prepped track the 0-60 times will drop
