The first day of Death Week was incredible. The racing is really only part of the story at this event! My Durango is currently second overall to Jason Rousseau, who actually got bogged at the sand dunes! This route takes racers to the most amazing places in America! Drag racing is never this extreme. These guys and girls doing this event are the real Street Outlaws. We wanted the most incredible drag and drive route in history and I think we might have that.

Come to Death Week TODAY (October 22) at BARONA DRAG STRIP, racing from 1pm to 6pm. Then FAMOSO DRAG STRIP on October 25 with racing from 5pm to 9pm. Finally back to PHOENIX on October 29 for racing from 10am to 2pm.

Hot Rod did a Drag Weekend West back in 2016 and we started in Chandler, AZ and went to Tucson. Was a fun trip but I might be biased cause I won the whole thing lol. They also did it in 2015 and went from AZ to Fontana, CA

It's going to be a great week for the majority because the majority of the vehicles are from the west coast and are set up to run in that heat
